This journey is designed for both men and women golfers of all abilities who are drawn to the roots and heritage of the game, as well as the remarkable landscapes on which golf has been played for centuries. The tour has been thoughtfully shaped to be enjoyable, inclusive, and rewarding for all who wish to take part.
The golf itself is varied and approachable, with a blend of storied courses and links that are equally rich in character while offering a gentler playing experience. Courses such as Musselburgh Old, Shiskine, and Dunaverty offer memorable play that is engaging without being overly demanding, making them especially appealing for a wide range of players. While venues like Prestwick carry historic prestige, the overall atmosphere throughout the tour is welcoming rather than intimidating, allowing both seasoned and newer golfers to feel comfortable stepping onto the first tee.
This is a high-energy golf experience for those who want to immerse themselves in the rhythm of links golf. Participants should be prepared to walk undulating terrain and, in many cases, carry their own bag or play alongside a local caddie in traditional fashion. With the long daylight hours of summer, there will be opportunities for additional holes, including the option of a classic Scottish 36-hole day for those eager to play more.
At the same time, the journey allows for flexibility. Travelers, whether individuals or couples, may choose to balance golf with time to explore nearby villages, take in coastal scenery, or simply enjoy the character of each destination at a more relaxed pace.
Across the tour, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy six or more rounds of golf, with additional play available depending on personal interest.
