Insurance

At TourMagination, we believe every trip should be as worry-free as possible. While we do everything possible to make your travel experience seamless, unexpected events can occur — from flight cancellations to lost luggage or medical emergencies abroad.

That’s why we highly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance before departure.  Emergency Medical Insurance is mandatory for all travelers.

Travel insurance helps protect both your plans and your investment. Depending on the policy, it can provide coverage for:

  • Trip cancellation or interruption — if illness, injury, or emergencies disrupt your plans

  • Medical expenses abroad — including hospitalization or evacuation

  • Lost, stolen, or delayed baggage

  • Travel delays and missed connections

Even the most carefully planned trip can face the unexpected — travel insurance gives you peace of mind so you can focus on the adventure ahead.

We’ve partnered with a select group of reliable travel insurance providers who share our commitment to traveler safety and customer care.

If you would like an insurance quote, please note it on your Tour Registration or contact the TourMagination office at office@tourmagination.com.

To get the most from your coverage:

  • Purchase your insurance soon after booking your trip — and prior to final tour payment.

  • Read your policy carefully so you understand what’s included and excluded.

  • Keep your policy details and emergency numbers handy while you travel.

  • Many travel insurance plans can be purchased up until the day you depart. However, if you’d like trip cancellation coverage, it’s best to purchase insurance as soon as you book your trip — and no later than the same day as your final payment.

  • Trip interruption insurance is a post-departure benefit that covers extra costs if you need to return home earlier or later than planned due to unexpected events.

It can reimburse you for non-refundable, unused travel arrangements and additional transportation expenses. Covered reasons may include illness or injury, airline schedule changes, unsafe weather, or the loss of important travel documents like a passport.

In short, it helps protect you financially when your trip is unexpectedly disrupted.

  • Yes. Please let us know if you’d like extended coverage when you request your insurance quote, or inform us before your tour departure so we can help arrange coverage for your additional travel plans.

  • In most cases, no. Before seeking treatment, it’s best to call your insurance provider to initiate the claim and get guidance on where to go and what to do. Your insurance company will confirm your coverage directly with the medical provider, who will then bill your insurance provider.

Some providers may request a deposit or assurance of payment. In rare cases, you might need to pay the hospital directly, but your insurance provider will reimburse you promptly once your claim is approved and all documentation is submitted.

  • In the event of a medical emergency, it is crucial to contact your insurance provider before receiving treatment. They can guide you to the nearest approved facility and help coordinate care.

Your Tour Expert will also have your insurance provider’s name and emergency phone number to assist you if needed.
