Meet cheesemakers, cooks, olive oil producers, artisans, and local hosts who continue to preserve traditions passed from one generation to the next.

Along the way, we'll wander historic markets, share meals around long tables, learn traditional skills, enjoy time for personal discovery, and experience the warmth of Italian hospitality in some of the country's most beautiful regions.

Arrive in Bologna and settle into the rhythm of Italy. Enjoy time to rest, explore nearby cafés and boutiques, and gather with fellow travelers for a welcome dinner featuring the flavors of Emilia-Romagna.

DAY 2 • September 28, 2027

The Flavors of Bologna

Discover Bologna's culinary traditions and historic gathering places with a local guide. Explore markets, medieval streets, and food shops before enjoying independent time for lunch and browsing. Later, visit the Santuario della Madonna di San Luca and gather for dinner at a traditional Bolognese trattoria.

Makers, Markets & Traditions 

Meet the families and producers preserving Emilia-Romagna's iconic food traditions. Visit a Parmigiano-Reggiano dairy and a traditional balsamic vinegar estate before enjoying a hosted tasting lunch and time to explore Modena's historic market district.

Into the Tuscan Countryside 

Journey into Tuscany's rolling hills and vineyard landscapes. Explore San Gimignano before enjoying a hosted wine and culinary experience at Tenuta Torciano, a family-owned Tuscan estate. Later, settle into a countryside retreat and the slower rhythms of Tuscan life.

Olive Groves & Siena Streets 

Enjoy a slower Tuscan morning before visiting a local olive oil producer. Continue to Siena for exploration, shopping, cafés, and local specialties before gathering for dinner featuring traditional Sienese cuisine.

Experience the warmth of Tuscan hospitality through a hands-on cooking experience with a local host. The Makers of Florence 

Explore Florence's living artisan traditions through visits to workshops and studios in the Oltrarno district. Experience the craftsmanship of Scuola del Cuoio and meet makers preserving Florence's handmade heritage before an afternoon of personal discovery.

The Art of Florentine Living 

Enjoy a day of personal discovery in Florence. Browse markets and artisan shops, visit museums or gardens, linger over coffee in a neighborhood café, or return to places that captured your imagination. Later, gather for a farewell lunch and a final evening of celebration together.
