Leonard and Mary are seasoned tour leaders with TourMagination who love the point where the natural world meets human habitation. They have travelled extensively over the decades, including time living in Finland and the former Soviet Union.

Their travels first took them to South Africa in 2001, and they have since returned many times as group leaders. For them, it remains a land of many stories, of awestruck beauty, of the tragedy and triumph of the human spirit, and of the wonders of the natural world.

Mary and Leonard are retired educators who enjoy helping others discover the history, cultures, and landscapes that make each destination unique. They mainly live in Waterloo, Ontario, with occasional escapes to the rugged Bruce Peninsula on Georgian Bay.

They have been blessed with three married children and eight grandchildren, and continue to enjoy sharing meaningful travel experiences with others.
