Len and Mary are seasoned tour leaders with TourMagination. They first discovered the Berner Oberland (the heart of the 2026 Swiss hiking adventure on offer) in 2000 when they took their three children on a “Grand European backpacking Tour”. The mountains and valleys around Grindelwald and Mürren were the highlights of the whole family trip that year.

Since then, Len and Mary have returned several times to the area, most recently in 2023 when they led a TourMagination tour there. Mary and Len are both retired educators. They live in Waterloo, Ontario, and their three children have – since the 2000 tour – grown up, married, and gifted them with 8 grandchildren.
