Carolyn Regehr
Sustainable Traveler · Outdoor Enthusiast · Adventurer · People & Culture Focused · Joyful/Playful
Carolyn Regehr is a passionate sustainable traveler, outdoor enthusiast, and guide who believes meaningful journeys are rooted in connection, curiosity, and shared experience. Her guiding style is warm and relational, inviting travelers to slow down, engage deeply, and discover the stories within each place.
Her global experience spans 49 countries and includes living overseas in Morocco for five years, volunteering for a year in Bangladesh, and leading adventures with groups in Guatemala and Kenya. She has also worked as a hiking guide in the Yukon, and most recently traveled through South America with her family for five months.
Carolyn’s Mennonite connections are rooted in lived experience. She spent time in Bangladesh with MCC (SALT program) and later accompanied students in Guatemala as a CMU Outta Town tour leader. These experiences helped shape her perspective on service, learning, and cross-cultural relationships.
Carolyn brings a depth of experience and a love for people, culture, and the natural world, creating journeys that are thoughtful, engaging, and truly memorable.
When Carolyn isn’t traveling (or dreaming up her next adventure), you’ll find her outside, usually on a bike. She rides with her kids to school, explores forest trails with her family, and trains for triathlons. She also loves hiking with her husband, and while they’ve tried to pass that love on to their kids, they’re not quite convinced… yet. Carolyn enjoys creating videos as her family adventures through Manitoba and around the world, and she’s deeply committed to caring for the Earth and leaving a positive impact wherever she goes.
