Laura lives in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where she freelances in various capacities, is involved at her church, and hangs with her adorably photogenic dog named Kimchi. She’s compelled to travel wherever and whenever she can. Laura studied Urban Studies in Chicago and has always had a soft spot for cities. After college she went to grad school, taught, went to South Korea for a year, and has worked as a writer/editor. She then spent a good chunk of the last decade working with international students in high school and college in the U.S. In the midst of all that, she squeezed in every ounce of travel she could manage. She wants to take others along with her to explore some of the places she has had the opportunity to experience. She is particularly excited to help travellers try some unusual foods, and zigzag around back allies to find unlikely gems.
