The Poland/Prague Tour Continues

By John Sharp, Tour Leader

Warsaw

Market Square in Chelmno, said to be the oldest (by 3 days!) town in Poland. Located across the Vistula Rivers east of Toruń.

Colourful Gdańsk, the setting for the successful Solidarity movement that opened Poland and led to the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. Tuesday Gdańsk and all of Poland will celebrate independence. This is the last city of our tour, but we stay four nights.

Designed built by Abraham van den Blocke, a Mennonite architect and sculptor.

Oliwa Cathedral.

Montau Mennonite and Lutheran church now used by Catholics. Built in 1898. Mennonites arrived here in 1568.
