TourMagination's trips to the Lands of the Bible are always very meaningful for our tour members, as they offer a way to deepen one's faith. TourMagination sees travel to Israel, Palestine, Jordan and Egypt as more than a vacation; rather as a pilgrimage.
TourMagination is committed to taking tours to Israel to help the Bible become more alive for participants. We believe that in order to share Jesus, his life and teachings, we need a solid understanding of the scriptures. As we tour Israel and walk where Jesus walked and taught, new understanding of the scriptures will occur and the Bible will become alive in the setting where it took place. Our tours to Greece and Turkey provide an opportunity to follow the footsteps of the Apostle Paul. As one recent tour member wrote, “I am still basking in the excitement and meaningfulness of our recent trip to Israel. I will never read the Gospels the same way again.”
TourMagination monitors the current situation in the Middle East and modifies their itineraries to maintain safety in travel. TourMagination is adding a new chapter to its Christian History Tours in 2010 with our first ever Italy, Austria and Germany tour. Participants will start by exploring Rome's pre-Christian origins before turning to the founding of the Roman Catholic church (with stops at the Vatican and Assisi). Our next stops in Siena and Florence will consider the impact of the Renaissance on religious belief and practice, and all of this leads to Anabaptist beginnings in the 16th century, featuring Pilgrim Marpeck. Add Salzburg and Oberammagau to the mix, and you have a tour that is sure to be memorable. Upcoming tours that focus on the origins of Christianity:
