Greetings from Ukraine
August 8th, 2007The Russia and Ukraine tour group had a very emotional day yesterday, filled with tears of joy. So many of the group had eagerly anticipating seeing the specific village where their families originated, and we were able to travel to most of them. We’ll travel to a few more today. It is gratifying to be able to help tour participants to fulfill their dreams, as well as listening to the wonderful singing of the group.
Some of us will be going to the Mennonite Central Committee office this morning and then back to Kiev tomorrow.
